COVID-19 Testing Update

We have a limited ability to conduct PCR testing in our office and are scheduling this testing over lunch and in the evening when patients having regular visits are not in the office. The swab is sent to a local lab (usually NorthShore) for testing. At the current time, we are only testing patients with symptoms or those who have had direct exposure to someone with COVID-19. We are not able to test parents or children who are not our patients, Please contact your doctor directly to discuss potentially scheduling a test. Note that at this time, we are not conducting rapid tests given their limited accuracy.

Additionally, there are local resources that offer testing. Please contact us regarding your child’s health before getting tested — we never want to pass on an opportunity to serve our patients and their families.

Please note: the governmental sites may only mail results through the US Postal System, making results not immediately available.
