Dear Patient Families of NSP,

A  pediatric COVID vaccine for children ages 6 months old through 4 years old has now been given emergency use authorization by the FDA and the CDC and should be available to the public shortly.

NSP has been approved to receive the Pfizer vaccine from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), but at this time we have not yet received any doses.

Please do not call our office to ask about scheduling a vaccine appointment.  Once we have received our vaccine shipment details, we will send an email with scheduling instructions.

As a reminder, we continue to have COVID vaccine available for children aged 5 to 11 years old. Patients in this age group are now eligible for a booster dose five months after their second vaccine.  If your child has not yet received their booster or the primary series, call us to schedule an appointment now.
