With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to mainly utilize telehealth for patients to be seen during our weekday walk-in office hours.
We are now adding an option for patients to be seen in person.
To maintain safety for patients, families and our staff, we are not allowing families to simply ‘walk in’ to the office as we did pre-pandemic.
However, families can now drive to our office and log in via telehealth from the parking lot.
A staff member will triage your situation, and will then direct you to come inside when a room is available.
-
Please first log on to our telehealth system between 8:00 am to 8:30 am. Patients will enter into a “virtual waiting room” to wait for our staff to initiate a visit.
-
Important – Walk-in hours are not for COVID testing. We have COVID testing available mid-day and at the end of the day by appointment only. Please call during normal office hours to schedule.
Please use your smartphone (preferred for better video quality) or tablet/computer with microphone and webcam capabilities to open one of the following sites:
-
doxy.me/NSPEV for Evanston patients
-
doxy.me/NSPBG for Buffalo Grove patients
Please note that the virtual waiting rooms will NOT be monitored outside of walk-in hours and are ONLY for established patients of North Suburban Pediatrics.
If you have general, non-urgent questions about your child’s health or the pandemic, do not hesitate to call during regular office hours, and your doctor will return your call. As always, we are available for same-day sick visits by appointment!
Sincerely yours,
The Physicians at North Suburban Pediatrics
