Dr. Hatter grew up in Denver, Colorado. She received her B.A. in Biology from the University of San Diego’s honors program. She earned her M.D. from Rush Medical College in Chicago, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed her pediatrics residency at the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago/Northwestern McGaw Medical Center, where she experienced the full spectrum of pediatric care. Throughout her medical training she has also received multiple teaching awards, participated in numerous pediatric advocacy initiatives, and presented her research at national conferences. During her residency training, she fell in love with primary care pediatrics through her continuity clinic experiences and the long-term relationships she developed with patients and their families. She believes that watching children grow up is the greatest privilege, and she finds it particularly fulfilling to tailor her approach to address the unique needs of every patient and family that she encounters.
Dr. Hatter lives in Lakeview with her fiancé, who is also a physician. Outside of the clinic, she is an avid Lakefront Trail runner and has twice completed the Chicago Marathon. She also loves trying new restaurants, hiking, traveling, and cooking for her friends and family. She is thrilled to meet the families of North Suburban Pediatrics!
