Return of In Person Walk-ins!

Dear NSP Families,

As Illinois moves to Stage 5 guidelines and the pandemic continues to recede, NSP is now returning to our traditional in-person walk-in model.

If you would like your child to be seen at our walk-in hour between 8:00am and 9:00am Monday through Friday, simply come to our office and walk in.

  • Families will be asked to keep six-foot spacing when checking in and in the waiting room.
  • We will do our best to put patients in rooms immediately to avoid crowding in the waiting room.
  • Per CDC guidelines, masks are still required in all healthcare settings.

Virtual “walk-in” visits will no longer be available, but virtual visits during regular office hours will still be available by request. Please call us during normal office hours to schedule one. A virtual visit may still need to be transitioned to an in-person visit depending on the nature of the medical complaint.

Important: Walk-in hours are not for COVID testing. We do have COVID testing available Monday – Friday at mid-day and at the end of the day by appointment only.  Please call during normal office hours to schedule a test.

If you have general, non-urgent questions about your child’s health or the pandemic, do not hesitate to call during regular office hours, and your doctor will return your call. As always, we are available for same-day sick visits by appointment!

Sincerely yours,

The Physicians at North Suburban Pediatrics
