North Suburban Pediatrics is proud to announce that Dr. Benjamin Kornfeld (“Dr. Ben”) recently published an original article in the journal Global Pediatric Health titled “Does History of Prematurity Prompt Blood Pressure Evaluations at Primary Care Visits?”  The publication was the culmination of a years-long project funded through the Northwestern University Practice Based Research Program and Lurie Children’s Pediatric Practice Research Group to address an understudied topic in primary care.  Dr. Kornfeld and his research team have previously presented their research at multiple national meetings and additional investigation remains ongoing regarding clinical practice shifts over time.  We all at NSP value our role in the primary care landscape as an evidence-based practice every day and will continue to do our part to advance the ever-evolving field of pediatric medicine and we are especially proud of Dr. Ben!
