Spring update!

As we head into the spring season, we want to share a few updates and reminders:

  • Please call now to schedule your child’s yearly well visit for the spring or summer.  Our summer schedules fill up quickly, and this visit is a vital part of the preventive care we provide our patients.
  • If your child needs a sick visit, please remember that we schedule sick visits by appointment throughout the week day, as well as during weekday evenings, weekends (Saturday and Sunday mornings) and on holidays.
  • The only time to walk-in without an appointment is Monday – Friday from 8am – 9am. Walk-in appointments should be for acute issues – such as ear pain, cough, sore throat.  For chronic concerns, please call and schedule an appointment with your primary doctor.
  • Please try to be on time for your scheduled appointments.  This helps our doctors stay on schedule.  If you are more than 15 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.
  • Please call us before 10am if you need to cancel your scheduled appointment to avoid a no-show fee.
  • Outside of our office hours, we have a doctor on call available for emergencies.  Please call to speak with them if you have concerns about your child’s health. For medication refills and other non-urgent concerns, please call during our office hours.  You can find medication dosing for infants and children on our website (Northsuburbanpediatrics.com).

As always, we continue to be open 7 days a week in order to care for your children. Please do not hesitate to call us if you have concerns about your child’s health.
