Dear patients, colleagues, and friends,
After over 60 years in pediatrics, 54 of them in practice on the North Shore, I have decided to retire as of September 30th and will see patients until that date.
It has been a distinct honor and pleasure to care for these many children and young adults over the years, watching them grow and mature, helping them when they were ill, and offering words of encouragement when well.
Our practice, which Dr. Downey and I founded, has been fortunate to have our eight associates, who are both bright and caring; Drs. Messing and Kornfeld are our newest examples.
I will miss all of the patients, my contacts with you, and the sharing of your joys, sorrows, and aspirations. My wife and I plan to stay in the area and perchance will meet you under non-medical circumstances.
