Top 14 Things You Should Know About North Suburban Pediatrics (NSP)

NSP was established in 1970, and we enjoy seeing many second generation patients.

Our doctors take personal pride in getting to know each of their patient families.

We are open every day of the year except Christmas Day!

Walk-in hours for sick visits are from 8 to 9am Monday through Friday at both offices.

On weekends and holidays, you should call the office before 10am to schedule a sick visit appointment for that day. No walk-ins on these days!

All of our doctors see patients at both our Evanston and Buffalo Grove locations.

Many ER and urgent care visits are not necessary, and problems can often be better addressed by seeing a pediatrician at our office, while also saving you time and money!

Our doctors do not prescribe antibiotics over the phone without first having seen the patient.

We strongly believe in vaccines!

We are available on call 24/7 — with no additional charges for phone calls.

Our doctors are all board-certified Pediatricians and members of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

We see patients until they graduate college — but no Ross from “Friends” situations!

We need to have seen your child for a well visit within the past 12 months in order to refill medications and fill out forms.

One of our current physicians was a patient at NSP when she was a child!
